On May 27, 2025, CPP conducted a practical demonstration of mechanized maize cultivation on a total of 50 acres of model farms, with the aim of promoting the use of agricultural machinery and advancing technology. In addition, after the maize harvest, demonstrations were also carried out to raise awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of not burning crop residues.
On November 6, 2025, at the mechanized model maize harvesting ceremony organized by CPP Company, the project’s Chief Development Execution Officer, Mr. Narong Apichai, and Program Director, U Hkam Awng, attended the event and delivered remarks explaining the objectives of collaboration in maize production. Following the ceremony, they observed mechanized maize harvesting and shelling processes. They also conducted field visits to inspect the use of maize shelling machines in farms where machinery access was limited, as well as the drying conditions of maize.
